This page tells you how we handle payments, what options you’ve got, and what happens if something changes. Let’s dive in!
How You Can Pay Us
We like to keep things simple when it comes to paying for your journey with us. Here’s how you can do it:
- Card Payments: You can use your debit or credit card – like Visa, Mastercard, or American Express. We take these online when you book through our website or over the phone.
- Online Booking: When you book on our site, you’ll pay upfront using a safe payment system. It’s quick and secure!
- Cash (Sometimes): We usually prefer card payments, but if you really need to pay with cash, let us know when you book, and we’ll see if we can make it work.
All payments go to MRT CARS LTD – that’s our official company name (company number 09105618), and we trade as Easy Chauffeurs.
When Do You Need to Pay?
Since we’re a private hire service licensed by Transport for London (licence number 008924), every ride has to be pre-booked—it’s the law! That means you’ll usually pay when you book your trip.
We’ll tell you the price upfront so there are no surprises. If you’re booking a longer journey or something special, we might ask for a deposit (like a small payment first) to hold your spot.
Prices and Extra Costs
The price we tell you when you book is what you’ll pay—simple as that! It covers your ride with one of our awesome drivers. But sometimes, extra things might add a bit more to the cost, like:
- Waiting Time: If you ask the driver to wait for you longer than planned, we might charge a little extra.
- Parking or Tolls: If we have to pay for parking or road tolls (like the London Congestion Charge), we’ll add that to your bill.
- Changes: If you change your trip – like adding a stop – we might adjust the price.
We’ll always let you know if there’s an extra cost before it happens, so you’re in the loop!
Cancellations and Refunds
Plans change, and we get that! If you need to cancel your ride, here’s how it works:
- Cancel Early: If you cancel more than 24 hours before your trip, we’ll give you all your money back—no problem!
- Cancel Late: If it’s less than 24 hours, we might keep some or all of the payment because we’ve already saved that time for you.
- No-Show: If you don’t show up and don’t tell us, we can’t refund you—sorry!
Refunds go back to your card (or however you paid) within a few days. Check out our refund and cancellation policy for more details.
Safe Payments
We take your money stuff seriously! When you pay online, we use a super safe system to keep your card details private. We follow UK rules to make sure everything’s secure, so you don’t have to worry.
